Guarantee 1: Lowest Room Rates

It¡¯s simple! In the unlikely event that you find a better price offered by the hotel within 24 hours of your stay, eLong will refund you triple the difference.

 
 

If a customer books a hotel through the eLong website/call center, receives confirmation via SMS/e-mail, and checks into a hotel at the eLong rate but finds that the eLong rate exceeds the hotel rack rate then they will be refunded triple the amount of the price difference £¨refund amount is based on first night room rate at the time of booking£©.

The guaranteed rates are based on the hotel rack rate and the eLong rate at the time of booking, and are based on exact itinerary matches including but not limited to the following terms:

a) Same hotel
b) Same room type
c) Same guest number
d) Same bed type
e) Same payment and guarantee conditions
f) Same check-in date

    The compared rate must be both advertised and available to the general public. For example, this does not include rates offered on membership program websites, corporate discounts or rates; group, charter, rewards program, incentive, meeting, convention, consolidator or interline prices; prices obtained via auction or similar process; or prices available only by using a coupon or other promotion not offered to the general public. The lower rate may not come from a website where you call to get the rate, or from an e-mail that you received.
    The compared rate only means room rate and excludes other expenses, such as taxes, service fees, internet fees, dining fees, transportation fees, etc.
  Guests have from the time of booking until 24 hours after check out to apply for their refund, but eLong will only check and confirm the application after a guest has checked out. Refund requests submitted more than 24 hours after checkout will not be accepted. All requests, including receipts, are subject to verification by eLong.
  If guests check in at the hotel rack rate they will not receive the triple price difference refund, but will receive their eLong points once their stay has been confirmed by the hotel.
 
    Other terms:
  • Time Limit:This guarantee does not apply if the hotel booking has been prepaid in full.
  • Applicability:This guarantee is only for hotels in China Mainland (the guarantee does not apply to hotels in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and other international destinations). Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
  • Payment method: Once an application has been confirmed, the refund amount will be credited to the credit card or bank account used for the transaction. Cash refunds will only be provided for cash transactions made within Mainland China.
  • Sole Refund: Guests that apply for ¡°Lowest Room Rate Guarantee¡± and ¡°Room Available Guarantee¡± compensation are regarded as having accepted all terms and conditions and release elong from future claims.
  • Other terms: Guest should follow all booking policies, hotel terms and other relative booking terms of eLong.
