1. How can I pay for my tickets?

The quickest way to complete your purchase is by credit card on our web site. E-Long accepts all major Chinese and International credit cards. This convenient method not only immediately saves your seat but also locks-in that day's ticket price, which often changes daily, and sometimes hourly. We protect our valued international credit card users against fraud through an online registration process for first-time users. Note also that it is common practice in China to provide passport information when using an international credit card. 2. Why do you need my passport number for me to use my credit card?

It is common practice in China to provide passport or government ID information when making any financial transaction. Domestic banks also usually require passport information in order to authorize transactions in foreign currency. Most importantly, though, this process also protects you from fraudulent use of your credit card by someone other than the passport holder.

3. Is my credit card number safe with eLong?

Yes. We are committed to ensure our customers' security and privacy. To protect our valued customers, we take credit card security very seriously. In handling customer credit card information, we strictly follow the international "Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard." We also hire and train professional staff to monitor and maintain safe handling procedures within our organization. Credit card data and any personal identifiable information you provide are protected during transmission over the internet by the use of special international-industry-standard encryption methods. A special client agreement has been signed between E-Long and credit card issuing banks. In addition, all telephone calls and emails to our call center are recorded for your further security. If you find any questionable charges on your credit card statement, please contact us right away so we can investigate the matter. 4. Can I pay for my tickets online?

Yes. In fact, that is the method we recommend, since it is the fastest and most convenient. It also allows you to lock-in the price so you don't lose the deal before the airline sells all the tickets. 5. Can I pay with credit cards whose mailing addresses are outside Mainland China?

Yes. eLong accepts all credit cards issued by banks worldwide.

6. Can I get a receipt or fapiao for my flight ticket purchase?

Yes, we can issue receipts or Fapiaos for your flight ticket purchases. For domestic tickets, the itinerary receipt itself is considered a Fapiao. For international tickets, please indicate this request during your booking submission online and confirm the payer's name with the eLong agent.
